1. What Gutski is
Gutski is a consumer wellness application that helps you track patterns between your diet, daily habits, and how your body feels. It is intended for general informational and self-tracking purposes only.
Specifically, Gutski:
- Estimates the gut-friendliness of meals using AI image analysis
- Generates a daily "Gut Score" (0–98) based on diet, timing, journal entries, and your profile
- Identifies patterns in foods you log that correlate with how you feel
- Provides general wellness tips and coaching notes
2. What Gutski is NOT
Gutski is not:
- A medical device
- A diagnostic tool
- A substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional
- FDA-cleared, MHRA-registered, or CE-marked as a medical device
- Designed to detect, diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
- A replacement for laboratory testing, imaging, endoscopy, or any clinical evaluation
The Gut Score is a wellness indicator only. It has no clinical meaning and is not validated against medical outcomes.
3. AI limitations
Gutski uses artificial intelligence to analyse meal photographs and generate insights. AI is imperfect and may:
- Misidentify foods or ingredients in photos
- Miss allergens, hidden ingredients, or trace contaminants
- Underestimate or overestimate portion sizes
- Apply general nutritional rules that don't fit your specific biology
- Reflect biases or gaps in its training data
You must never rely solely on Gutski for allergen detection, dietary safety, or any decision affecting your health. If you have a severe allergy, always read ingredient labels and consult food preparers directly.
4. Consult a healthcare professional
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional (doctor, gastroenterologist, registered dietitian, or other licensed provider) before:
- Starting any new diet, fasting protocol, or supplement based on Gutski's suggestions
- Making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have diabetes, kidney disease, eating disorders, or any chronic condition
- Acting on any pattern Gutski identifies as a "trigger" — confirmation requires medical evaluation
- Using Gutski during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or if you are under 18 (Gutski is not intended for minors)
- Using Gutski if you have a history of disordered eating
5. PCOS mode disclaimer
Gutski offers a PCOS mode that adjusts scoring weights for users with polycystic ovary syndrome. This mode is:
- Based on general nutritional principles associated with PCOS management
- Not a substitute for individualised care from an endocrinologist, gynaecologist, or dietitian
- Not validated through clinical trials
- Not appropriate as your sole guide for managing PCOS or related conditions (insulin resistance, infertility, etc.)
6. No doctor-patient relationship
Using Gutski does not create a doctor-patient, dietitian-client, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and NO CAP KRE8 LLC, its employees, or contractors.
7. Eating disorders and disordered eating
Tracking food, calories, or any health metric can be harmful for individuals with current or past eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, orthorexia).
If you have a history of disordered eating, please consult a mental health professional before using Gutski. If using the app causes distress, obsessive thoughts, or harmful behaviours, stop using it immediately and seek support.
8. Bowel symptoms requiring medical attention
The morning journal includes the Bristol Stool Scale and other digestive symptom logging. Please seek medical evaluation for:
- Persistent changes in bowel habits lasting more than 2-3 weeks
- Blood in stool (visible or detected on testing)
- Unexplained weight loss
- Persistent abdominal pain
- Difficulty swallowing
- Family history of colorectal cancer, IBD, or coeliac disease combined with new symptoms
Gutski cannot detect serious gastrointestinal conditions including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, or infectious diarrhoea.
9. No guarantee of results
Individual results vary. Testimonials and example outcomes are not typical and are not a guarantee of any specific result. Many factors outside Gutski's control affect gut health, including stress, sleep, genetics, medications, environment, and pre-existing conditions.
10. Reliance on information
Your reliance on any information provided by Gutski is solely at your own risk. NO CAP KRE8 LLC disclaims all liability for any adverse effects, injuries, or losses arising from your use of the app or any decision you make based on it.
